  1. The first keyblade, the Kingdom Key. I found an image at Kingdom Key | Kingdom Hearts Wiki | FANDOM. https://kingdomhearts.fandom.com/wiki/Kingdom_Key It's not fancy looking but at the end of the key chain is Mickey Mouse. I heart Mickey!
  2. The truthfulness of your statements disturbs me. But the real world is what it is. That being said, if choosing a combat system as close to reality as possible, turn-based ~ active time battle (ATB) is probably the best.
  3. I decided to pick Shiva because I was searching for some FF artwork and I found a great image of Shiva! Final Fantasy - Evolution of Shiva | YouTube
  4. Continuing to confirm that the FF 7 Remake is not a rumor, if you check Amazon you will see that you can PRE-Order the PS4 game. It will become available on December 31, 2019. You will have to wait the entire year for it. But it's coming. Related Link: Best PS4 Games 2019
  5. Oh OK. Thanks for explaining and giving me the correct keywords to search for. I did a little bit more research and learned that this series is “inspired by films such as Blade Runner and RoboCop as well as numerous other cyberpunk works of fiction.” (Source) My kids do video games. But I love a good sci-fi movie. If this game series is similar to those 2 movies then I think there is a future.
  6. Didn't want to start a new thread. Since this discussion is about mobile games I'll share this here. News from Electronic Arts: "The Sims Mobile has been nominated for Google Play’s Fan Favorite Game of 2018! ... Starting Nov. 12 you can VOTE to help them win. ?" (Source: EA Facebook Page) https://play.google.com/store/apps/editorial_collection/promotion_topic_bestofuservoting2018_tp
  7. The list is out! Sony confirms full list of games coming with PlayStation Classic (List dated October 31, 2018)
  8. My kids have a PS4 and they like the Chrono Cross video game. Check out this link: 38 Games Like Chrono Cross for PlayStation 4 | Game Cupid
  9. I don't know anything about this game. I just remember that it was mentioned in another discussion forum. But when I checked it was not “Human Revolution”. There are two discussions about “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” and in both discussions, the commenters seem to like the Deus Ex game better. If that's an indicator then my guess is the game has a future.
  10. I have lived in tropical climates (or warm-weather cities) and I lived in places where it snows. The snow is very beautiful and it's nice … as long I don't have to go outside in the snow. The autumn leaves are gorgeous. I just hate raking them up. Summer is plain old hot! I have found that no matter which part of the United States I live in, the spring season is always the nicest time of the year. Many people have such beautiful gardens.
  11. That was a great suggestion. Even I searched and founds lots of music. I also found this article: 10 Awesome Places to Find Background Music for Video
  12. Console games must be better because my kids made sure they bought the latest console - PS4 - to play their video games.
  13. I once had a job working for the federal government. My job transferred me to Austin, Texas. When we arrived in the city we stayed in a hotel for a few weeks until we could find a place to stay. My kids thought that hotel was so cool. Do you want to know why? Because they could play video games on the TV in the hotel room and compete with other kids in other hotel rooms and have loads of fun!!! They signed on, gave themselves fake names and played their hearts out. Nobody knew anybody. They didn't know who was in what room at the hotel. They just knew who was winning and who was losing. Have you ever joined in on a video game with total strangers? I forget the name but there was one kid who was beating everybody! Nobody could take him down! Or her. It could have been a girl. I don't know!
  14. I work online 6 days a week so that includes Saturdays. Sundays are my day off. I attend worship services and relax.
  15. Prefer Windows. I think I have used a Mac maybe once or twice. Have always used Windows. Too late to teach this old dog new tricks.
  16. IGN published a list of the Top 25 Modern PC Games of the past decade (2008-2018). I'm not surprised that Grand Theft Auto and World of Warcraft were on the list. I was surprised that World of Warcraft was Number 19. Grand Theft Auto was Number 4.
  17. Who likes to play Super Mario games? Which game? Interesting read: An A.I. is Designing Retro Video Games. And They're Surprisingly Good | Digital Trends
  18. When my kids reached the age of 18, I let my kids know they could leave any time. Most of them stayed at home until they just couldn't stand it any more. It was a few years past the age of 18. As long as the child is considered an adult they can leave home whenever. If you go with that “when they get a job”, some kids will never leave home. I'm telling you straight. They'll be 45 years and still living with mom and dad. I read a story where the parents had to take their kid to court in order to get him "legally evicted" from out of their house. The boy was grown with a kid and he had all kinds of excuses about why his parents should let him stay with them. Dude! If you can go out and get a girl pregnant, you need to MAN UP! ??
  19. Tech Radar is a reliable publication. According to their report, dated October 2018, it's not a rumor. “Due to the success of Final Fantasy 7 over 20 years ago (and the pleads from die hard fans), Square Enix is releasing a remake.” (Source)
  20. I never win this game. But I'm going to post here anyway.
  21. My daughter is a Kingdom Hearts loyalist. Not sure she ever looks for a substitute or similar game. But this site called Twinfinite published a list of 7 games similar to KH. In my opinion, the games called “Star Ocean: Till the End of Time” might appeal to you.
  22. Naoki Urasawa’s “20th Century Boys” has been compared to Stephen King’s “It”. (Any Stephen King fans out there?) It has been described as an “apocalyptic manga” whatever that means. What I like about it is that it goes back and forth between the years 1969 and 1997, a time period that I can relate to; and I kind of like the plot. 20th Century Boys manga is the Japanese answer to Stephen King’s It - Polygon Don't you love this artwork?
  23. Thanks to my hubby for introducing me to Imogen Heap. He seems to be pretty good at picking artists although he doesn't follow any news about video games. Square Enix made an announcement via their Instagram account that the theme song for The Quiet Man is an original track named “The Quiet”, by the Grammy award-winning artist Imogen Heap. New The Quiet Man Trailer Showcases An Eerily Noiseless Manhattan – GameSpot The Quiet Man release date set for November 1 on PC, PS4
  24. I work 6 days a week. On Sundays, I take a break. But my plan is to get up each day and work at each site. I don't take a break. What usually happens is I run into a problem that needs to be fixed. It takes up a lot of time and by the end of the day I'm too tired to go to the other sites. So it's a forced break. Not a planned intentional break.
  25. Not familiar with this game. It's based on a Japanese science-fiction horror novel. Science-fiction and horror? Not my two favorite things. But since it was popular enough to be adapted to film, then a manga series and then video games, it must be kind of interesting. Thanks for introducing me to something new.
