Similar to Limit Breaks in previous installments, Quickenings are considered a character’s special attack. Scattered throughout the License Board are eighteen Quickening panels, three for each character. Once a character has used a Quickening panel, that panel disappears on the other five character’s boards. After you unlock the second and third Quickening for a character, their MP will double or triple respectively.

If certain conditions have been met, a Concurrence may occur at the end of a Quickening. The conditions are based on how many level one, two, or three Quickenings were used in sequence. Concurrences cause non-elemental damage, despite the names, to the primary target and any other target in the vicinity. Each Concurrence takes a specific amout of level one, two, or three Quickenings in ordered to be activated.
