Chapter 3: On the Prowl

Quest Giver: Wymer
Reward: 1x Elixir

There’s a big Shinra military attack dog wondering the streets and Wymer needs Cloud to take care of it. This battle has an identical second part that’s triggered when you get the fiend’s HP down to 66%, where it flees to another area. Chase after it and finish it off to complete the quest.

Killing the Wrath Hound

  • While weak to ice magic, this creature moves fast, so you’ll need to time it.
  • Its Headbutt attack charges quickly at you. Look for it and dodge it.
  • Tentacle Whip is a close range attack that is often followed up with getting pounced on.
  • Tifa is a good pick for this battle because of her speed.
